1. Opening hours:

The reception time of the Three Gorges Dam scenic area is from 8:00-17:00. The reception time of the Yemingzhu corner reception station is from 7:30-16:00, and the reception time of the Zigui transfer point of the Three Gorges Dam tourist transfer center is from 8:00-15:00.

2. Reservation:

Visitors need to make an appointment through the "Three Gorges Dam Touri**" WeChat public account for real-name and time-sharing appointments, and prepay the transportation fee (35 yuan/person). The appointment period is divided into 8:00-12:00 in the morning and 12:00-17:00 in the afternoon. The reservation information should include real name, mobile phone number, ID number, and visit time. Minors (without ID) and foreign tourists can directly make reservations and purchase tickets at various ticket windows in the scenic area.

✅Transportation🚗

By high-speed train🚄: If you take a high-speed train to Yichang, you can walk about 500 meters after arriving at Yichang East Railway Station to the Yichang Bus Passenger Transport Center to transfer to the scenic spot"s direct bus or take the 809-2 intercity bus to the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Transfer Center (you can also take the B9➡️ Gezhouba transfer B100 ▶️ walk to Yemingzhu Bus Station ▶️ take 216). During the National Day holiday, a route to the Zigui Transfer Center was also opened, and visitors can go to the dam directly, which takes only about 10 minutes, very convenient

【Tanziling Scenic Area】

It is the commanding height of the Three Gorges Project and the best location to see the panoramic view of the Three Gorges Project. Tanziling is named after its shape of an inverted pot.

【Ship Lock Viewing Platform】

The Five-Stage Ship Lock of the Three Gorges Dam is the main navigable building of the Three Gorges Project, with a total length of 6.4 kilometers. The drop in water level of the ship lock is 113 meters, equivalent to a 35-story building. The double-line five-stage ship lock is the world"s largest inland ship lock, creating the world"s largest water level drop and shipping effect.

【185 Viewing Platform】

The 185 Viewing Platform is located at the left end of the dam"s top road, which is the same height as the top of the dam, at an altitude of 185 meters. The grand dam extends from here to the south of the Yangtze River, dividing the whole river in half. Standing on the platform and looking down, you will feel the height of the dam.

【Diversion Memorial Park】

The scenic spot is located 800 meters downstream on the right bank of the Three Gorges Dam. The entire dam can be seen from here. The Three Gorges Diversion Memorial Park is the first water conservancy engineering theme park in China that combines touri**, popular science, performances, and leisure functions.

1. Take the scenic shuttle bus from the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Center to Tanziling.

2. Walk a few steps from Tanziling to the Ship Lock Viewing Platform.

3. Walk or take an electric car (10 yuan/person) from the Ship Lock Viewing Platform to the 185 Viewing Platform.

4. Take the scenic shuttle bus from the 185 Viewing Platform to the Diversion Memorial Park.

5. Take the scenic shuttle bus from the Diversion Memorial Park back to the Tourist Center.
